1. How Embedding Works

PLEASE NOTE: If you have AdBlocker or any type of similar service running in you browser you may experience difficulties when viewing your widgets. Be sure to disable your ad blocker for my.simplybuilt.com and the URL of your website to see the widgets.

    • SimplyBuilt embeds support iframes and scripts from other services like Facebook or Twitter.
    • Embed content anywhere you can place an image.
    • Mouse over a media placeholder you want to replace with an embed and click the gear.
    • Embed in text boxes by clicking on a text box then selecting the embed icon. Don't worry, the process is exactly the same for both methods.
    • Now click the Embed icon.
    • On the Markup Tab, paste the embed code you copied from the provider in the text field.
    • You'll notice that SimplyBuilt helps you verify if the embed you're applying will display properly by showing a green check mark that appears after you paste your code, or a warning when we can't promise it will display properly.

Note Tracking Pixels should be added to the `BODY` not the `HEAD` of the page; otherwise the tracking pixel may not work.

Advanced Usage You can write custom HTML, CSS, and Javascript here if you are comfortable with web technologies!

    • Press the "Insert" button and the embed or placeholder "</>" will appear on your page depending on the type of embed you have inserted.
    • You can test out the embed by publishing your changes and viewing the live page.
